Flight to Ethiopia

Our trip began from Kansas, where we had been with Kim's family for the Christmas holiday. We drove to Kansas City and met Kim's sister, Aundrea. Our first flight was from Kansas City to Washington-Dulles on December 30. At Washington-Dulles, we met up with my mom, Catherine. From there, we boarded an Ethiopian Air flight to Addis Ababa, with a 45 minute touch down in Rome. We had a beautiful view of the mountains in Italy. We survived the 15 hour flight by watching videos, eating 3 good meals, and getting a little bit of sleep, arriving in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at 7:30 pm on December 31. The service on Ethiopian Air was great and worthy of its recognition as the best African airline in 2006.
